Robert Geiss

Robert A. Geiss J.D.

Robert A. Geiss, J.D. came on board to Hubbard/Geiss Music in 2006 assisting in business development, music rights/licensing and contract negotiation. Robert has been involved in business development and/or in-house general counsel in various sectors. To name a few: The telecommunication industry (Keyes Micro Cable later known as Comcast); having negotiated broadband TV licensing agreements for the digital network company; representing mergers and acquisitions of physician’s practices (Viragen/Westen); and research in bio-tech companies. A trial attorney, he specialized in complex commercial litigation, and represented major financial institutions such as: Citibank/Chemical Bank/ Miami Federal Credit Union/Nations Bank, now known as, Bank of America.

Robert later taught in the graduate MBA division, while serving on the Board of Advisors at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. He has served as President and Director of The Children's Genetic Disease Foundation, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for research. Robert also happens to be an excellent pianist/organist, which is how he put himself through University. Robert is father to Louisette Geiss, who credits her dad for inspiring her to follow her musical inspirations. "My dad can play a mean boogie woogie to get you dancing all night long! He's great for playing happy birthday every year live on the piano, where the whole family, including the dogs sing along."
